An unexpected performance improvement appeared this morning on both the Watson Web interface and the Web services. I would like to say (without lying) that this is the result of a high-level optimization strategy, but in fact, it is just that I discovered (by chance) that I was using Lucene in an inefficient way... (well, can't we say that avoiding stupidity is a kind of high-level optimization strategy?)
